ইংরেজি বলার ও লেখার সময় আমরা বাঙালিরা কিছু সাধারণ ভুল করে থাকি বা কিছু ব্যাপারে কনফিউশনে থাকি। যেমন –

✅ সাধারণ ভুল/Confusions – পরিচিত তালিকা:

  1. Wrong prepositions
    ❌ I am good in English.
    ✅ I am good at English.
  2. Confusion between ‘say’, ‘tell’, and ‘speak’
    ❌ He told that he is busy.
    ✅ He said that he is busy.
    ✅ He told me that he is busy.
  3. Using present tense for past events (বাংলা ভাবানুবাদে বিভ্রান্তি)
    ❌ Yesterday I go to market.
    ✅ Yesterday I went to market.
  4. Unnecessary use of “do” in positive sentences
    ❌ I do go there every day.
    ✅ I go there every day
  5. Wrong article usage (‘a’, ‘an’, ‘the’)
    ❌ He is an honest man. ✅ (Correct)
    ❌ She is a MBA holder. ✅ (Incorrect – “an MBA holder” হবে)
  6. Direct translation from Bengali
    ❌ My head is paining.
    ✅ I have a headache.
  7. Plural and singular confusion
    ❌ She have a car.
    ✅ She has a car.
  8. Wrong word order in questions
    ❌ What you are doing?
    ✅ What are you doing?
  9. Using double negatives
    ❌ I don’t know nothing.
